Simposium INA NUTRI 2024 pada tanggal 27 & 28 Juli 2024 yang diselenggarakan oleh Indonesian Nutrition Association (INA) mengumpulkan para ahli terkemuka di bidang gizi untuk membahas perkembangan terbaru dalam dunia kesehatan. Sesi makan siang pada hari pertama pukul 10:30 hingga 12:00, membawa topik utama, “Defisiensi Zat Besi di Luar Anemia: Memahami Hambatan dan Pendekatan Siklus Hidup untuk Pencegahan”.
- Asupan nutrisi yang inadekuat.
- Peningkatan kehilangan nutrisi, umum terjadi pada kondisi infeksi parasit dan perdarahan postpartum.
- Gangguan penyerapan, seperti pada infeksi helikobakter pilori atau kurangnya faktor intrinsik untuk penyerapan vitamin B12.
- Perubahan metabolisme nutrien, contohnya pada defisiensi vitamin A.
